Goodgame Studios to Celebrate Game’s Launch by Donating and Planting Trees in Collaboration with Non-Profit Organization One Tree Planted

Goodgame Studios, a leading developer and publisher of gaming software, today announced that its farming simulator and role-playing game (RPG), Big Farm Story, is now available for PC players on Steam and the Microsoft Store at $19.99. Based on Goodgame Studios’ popular Big Farm brand, which has attracted more than 92 million players worldwide with titles like Big Farm and Big Farm: Mobile Harvest, Big Farm Story delivers a completely new gameplay experience where players can craft their own story by building their dream farm with friends and animals.

After finding themselves on their missing grandfather’s abandoned farm, Big Farm Story players have the opportunity to rebuild the farm to its former glory, harvest crops and take care of animals on the land. Whether decorating the farm or farmhouse, visiting neighbors or making new friends in town, players can explore, craft and collect items in nearby forests or at the beach, as well as learn new skills like fishing or cooking.

To celebrate the game’s launch, Goodgame Studios will continue its collaboration with non-profit organization One Tree Planted to donate 1,000 trees – and plant one additional tree – for every sold game during August to help reach the goal of 10,000 trees. Goodgame Studios is collaborating with Amazon Prime to provide free content for Prime members in Goodgame’s Big Farm: Mobile Harvest.

As of June 15, 2020, Prime members will have access to free content including time reductions, power ups and exclusive profile pictures. This content can be claimed through a valid Amazon account. This promotion will offer regular in-game content drops for Prime members and is expected to run for a period of six months.

Goodgame Studios’ beloved farm simulation game BIG FARM: Mobile Harvest will help players plant 10,000 trees in the Amazon rainforest to help tackle deforestation after the recent wildfires. This initiative is part of Goodgame’s ongoing commitment to the environment and the fifth and largest charity event to be funded through player engagement within BIG FARM: Mobile Harvest. Previous events have helped support the cleaning of the Ocean through collaboration with non-profit organisation Healthy Seas, and a ‘Save the Bees’ event in partnership with the Deutsche Wildtier Stiftung.

Working again with non-profit organisation One Tree Planted, players will be challenged to meet in-game goals that translate into real trees being planted in the Amazon rainforest, which recently suffered catastrophic deforestation due to wildfires. To support this event Goodgame Studios will be encouraging players to participate through a significant marketing campaign, engaging influencers on social media as well as running TV advertising campaigns throughout the DACH region.
